Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, better known by her stage name of Ari Lennox, is an American music producer and vocalist from Washington, D.C., who was the first female to sign with J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. She released her first EP for the label on Oct. 21st of 2016 with the title Pho. It was then that she began gaining recognition. Shea Butter Baby is her debut album. It came out in May of 2019. Ari Lennox began uploading her music online in the year 2012 when she launched her mixtape debut Five Finger Discount, and her debut EP Ariography in 2013. The singer continued uploading her songs online throughout 2014 and released her own single Bound. The song was included in Omen's Elephant Eyes which was released at Sweat It out in July 21st, 2015.
